1. Download and Install
Step 1: Download the EV Sender application using the "Download EV Sender" button below.
Step 2: Run the installer and follow the installation wizard.
Step 3: The installer will automatically offer to install the PCAN driver if not already installed. Click "Yes" to install it (required for CAN bus communication).
2. System Requirements & Prerequisites
Required Hardware:
- PCAN-USB adapter (or compatible PCAN device)
- USB cable to connect the PCAN adapter to your computer
- EV with access to the vehicle's diagnostic connector

Sender installation manual
- Operating System: Windows 7 or later (64-bit recommended).
- Drivers: PCAN-Basic driver (installed automatically by the installer).
- Environment: Python runtime (included in Sender.exe).
3. Setting Up Live Connection
Step 1: Connect your PCAN adapter to your computer via USB.
Step 2: Connect the PCAN adapter to the vehicle's diagnostic connector using the appropriate cable.
Step 3: Start the EV Sender application on your computer.
Step 4: Enter your login credentials (the same ones you use on this website).
Step 5: Click "Sign In" to authenticate.
4. Using the Website
Step 1: Log in to this website with your credentials.
Step 2: Navigate to the "Live Diagnostics" section.
Step 3: Select your vehicle model or platform (e.g., Tesla Model 3/Y, S/X, or other compatible EV systems).
Step 4: Select the CAN bus you want to monitor:
- Powertrain CAN: Battery, motors, inverters, thermal management.
- Chassis CAN: Steering, brakes, suspension, safety systems.
- Body CAN: Doors, windows, lighting, HVAC.
- Charger CAN: Charging system, charge port, onboard charger.
Step 5: Click "Confirm & Connect" to start the live session.
Step 6: The website will automatically sync with your Sender application and begin streaming data.
5. Working with Data
Real-time Monitoring: Once connected, you will see real-time parameters, errors, and flags. Data updates automatically as the vehicle system operates.
Voltage Map: For supported Powertrain CAN platforms, a 96-cell voltage grid displays individual battery brick voltages.
Errors and Flags: Active errors are highlighted in red, and warning flags in yellow.
Disconnecting: Click "Disconnect & Leave" when finished. The Sender application will automatically stop reading CAN bus data.
6. Troubleshooting
- PCAN Driver Not Found: Ensure you install the driver when prompted or download it manually from the Peak System website.
- Connection Failed: Verify the Sender application is running and you are logged in with the correct account.
- No Data: Check all physical cable connections and ensure the vehicle's high-voltage (HV) system is active.
- Authentication Error: Verify that your email and password match on both the website and the Sender app.
7. Credits
Each live diagnostic session costs 1 credit. Your current balance is displayed in the top right corner of the dashboard. Additional credits can be purchased at any time.
